We envision a world where every young person can explore and express their creative voice. Our work focuses on youth who are pushed to the margins, using sound as a tool to express their voice, engage with their environment and build confidence.
PARTNERS
Environments links local initiatives with international networks through cross-border collaboration and shared knowledge. We partner with sound artists, researchers, grassroots organisations, educational institutions, music festivals and radio platforms across the globe.

PROGRAMS
Multi-day program engaging underrepresented youth in exploring and connecting with their immediate environment through sound — culminating in the creation of sonic stories under professional guidance. First edition taking place in late 2026. Supported by Creative Industries Fund NL.
European collaboration programme developing an open methodology to equip professionals with sonic fieldwork skills — from capturing natural and urban environments to documenting cultural soundscapes. Supported by Eramus+.
Experiential sonic workshops developed in collaboration with grassroots organisations internationally. The programme combines hands-on expeditions with training in field recording and creative sound practices. Supported by Cultural Participation Fund NL and Dutch embassies.
